Now that the summer semester is over I am in prep mode for a new show going up at the end of August at University of Notre Dame. It will be a solo show in the photography gallery with 15 pieces. I have spent the last free weeks making my selection and editing a couple of newer works that I have not yet printed at a larger size.

On a side note I want to mention a great place to get digital printing paper out in the suburbs: it supplies. They have great prices and ship free for orders over $100. After calling around all morning I found they were the only place in the chicago area that had my paper in stock. I was able to call and place the order over the phone and pick it up two hours later, wonderful!

I’m headed out of town for a little shooting trip (stocked up 60 sheets of film and will hopefully use it all! It has been a busy summer and I need a little vacation/work trip before starting back for the new school year.

New Romantics, an exhibition curated by friend Mike Reinders, opens this weekend. Mike put in a ton of work gathering this group of artists and prepping the space.
