This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Donna Arntzen. Her serries Containing Nature examines the the relationship between humans and nature. This examination of artifice in nature seems to interest many young artists lately, myself included.

The Mary Beth Creiger show is at Around the Coyote Gallery, 1935 1/2 West North Avenue (at Milwaukee and Damen) in Chicago. The show is curated by Catherine Edelman (Catherine Edelman Gallery Chicago) 6-10pm.

FOTO-WORK is at The Orleans street Gallery, 4051 East Main Street in Saint Charles (on Army Trail "Route 64" west of Sutton Road "Route 59"). The show is juried by Whitney Bradshaw (Curator of Photography at the Bank of America Collection) 6-9pm.
