Crazy Busy.

The past week has been crazy busy. I am preparing for three new shows. My Bulletin Board image was chosen for two shows at the same time, full size 40×50′s, one to Richmand and the other to Corpus Christi.

The third show will be a solo show in a small gallery in my hometown of Bartlett, opening October 18th(more details soon).

Other than that, I am planning classes, packing to move, trying to plan a weekend road trip to make new work, volunteering out at the Orleans Street Gallery, and I am exhausted after a friends wedding Saturday (9:30am ceremony?).

New work, from the summer.

For Architecture Freaks…

I just saw this post on PrairieMod about a FLW show opening at the Guggenheim museum in conjunction with the museum’s 50th anniversary and I would assume the completion of exterior restoration. With this news I hope to go back to New York this summer.

Final resting place

It took a couple months, but my “placed to rest” (Bench from the MFA show) has finally been installed in a final resting place.

And, I am working on a new piece of furniture (a cement chaise) and looking for a space to install it. This will end up weighing much more (approximately 4-5 hundred pounds) so it will need to be completed “on site”.
