Due Week 3.
1-Shoot color negative film 1roll -Types of Color-. Take a gray card with you. Place it in your frame. Look for neutral colors, cool neutral colors, warm neutral colors.(examples)
Have film developed for week 4.
Do a good job on this as it will be used for several assignments.
2 -Waking Life/ Overpainting Self Portrait
Description: Using learned painting skills, redraw or paint yourself in the style of an artist of your choice. You should not see any of the original photograph. Examples: Robert LinklaterÕs Waking Life, Holly Roberts, Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Chuck Close
Bring your final file to class, we will print it in class.
3-Learn the names of the tools on the Photoshop Toolbar.
4-Find a digital Artist on the web you really like. Have that name for class next week.

Monitor Calibration Assignments
Bring your 6 scanned files with adjustment layers, and sized to print on 8.5Ó x 11Ó paper. Using Curves remove color casts from each of your files.
Sign up for a printer for next week. You will be told what time in class.
